Where are you based and do you travel?
Inshade Media is based in Burlington, Vermont, with connections across the East Coast. We love to travel! Generally, if you are in the northeast region of the United States, it is definitely worth asking about our availability to come to your area.
How is content delivered?
Photos are delivered through collections on our website, either publicly or with password protection. Per request, photos and all other content can be delivered through any choice of platform depending on customer needs!
Are any discounts available?
In some cases, yes! Education related projects are eligible for varying discounts—contact us—and anyone can apply for our Social Impact Credit program!
How many pictures will we receive?
Quantity varies depending on the duration and density of events being captured, but we generally deliver around 75 photos per hour of shooting. Fast paced events, like weddings, may entail upwards of 200 photos per hour, and fine art, posed photography sessions may only produce a few dozen photos.
What gear do you use?
The short answer is that we use the gear we find most suitable for our shooting style. Our in-house equipment is up to date and in line with industry standards, and we have ties with industry rental companies for niche fulfillment!
Can I make specific requests?
Of course! We want to do our best to find harmony between our artistry and our client's vision, and nothing beats the challenge of trying something new! All we ask for is understanding
Isn't rental a predatory business?
It often is — but as Inshade Media provides many other services, our rental program is not designed to drive profits. Instead, fees work to crowd fund gear acquisitions and make them affordable to all creators in our community while minimizing the liability placed on any one creator.
